Baby View connects to your vehicle through the USB data port used for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The included USB receiver allows the camera system to integrate with your vehicle's infotainment display.
For iPhone users:
When connected, your iPhone will pair with the vehicle's Apple CarPlay system through the Bubbasafe USB receiver's bluetooth. This means you will no longer need to use a wire to connect to your phone to your car. The camera transmitter then sends the live video feed wirelessly to the receiver, which displays it on your vehicle's screen.
This allows you to view the baby camera while continuing to use supported CarPlay features such as navigation, calls and music on compatible vehicles.
The USB transmitter performs the following functions:
1. Connects to the vehicle's USB data port used for Apple CarPlay/Android Auto
2. Receives the wireless video signal from the baby camera transmitter
3. Displays the live baby camera feed on the vehicle's infotainment screen
4. Enables wireless connection between your phone and the vehicle's CarPlay system
5. Allows your phone to connect to CarPlay wirelessly so you can continue using navigation, calls and music
The camera requires one power cable (3m cable provided) to turn on. Many vehicles have a USB port in the rear seating area or behind the front seats, allowing the camera to be powered without running long cables through the vehicle.
Once powered, the camera wirelessly transmits the video feed to the USB receiver for display on your dashboard screen.
For Android users:
When the camera transmitter is powered on, it automatically connects to the USB receiver and displays the live full-screen camera feed on the vehicle's screen.
Android Auto displays the camera in full-screen view only. Other Android Auto functions such as navigation, calls or music cannot run simultaneously with the camera display.
To return to the standard Android Auto interface, disconnect the Baby View USB receiver and reconnect your phone.
